The school district has partnered with the Salvation Army to bring food items and water to Calhoun Falls today. Distribution will be at the Farmers Market. I will send another message with the time.
Please take precautions now to tie down objects in your yard that can be blown around. If you can, move your car(s) away from trees. This is predicted to be very damaging! Please be safe and protect our children. Prayers for safety during all this!

Get Ready to Smile - Picture Day is Friday!!
Each year Abbeville County School District administers the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) test to all students kindergarten - eighth grade, as required by the State Department of Education.
It is important that your child be at school and on time each day of testing. Please contact your child's teacher or Ms. Crawford, Instructional Coach and Testing Coordinator, if you have any concerns.
School online registration is open! Please register your student online or come by the school any day from 8:30 to 12:30.
We would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Winter Break. School reopens on February 26th.

Title I Open House Night at JCCE will be Tuesday, September 7th at 6:00 PM. All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend. We will meet first in the gym and then parents and guardians will be released to go to their child's classroom. Parents and guardians can learn about the student curriculum and the expectations for students in the 2023-24 school year. It will be a great time to meet your child's teacher and find out all the great things that are happening at JCCE.
We would like to welcome Mrs. Michelle Dickerson as a new teacher to JCCE in 5th grade teaching 4th and 5th grade Math. We are glad you are joining the great faculty and staff of JCCE.

The ACSD will be holding a final K4 screening for students applying for the 2023-2024 school year on May 19, 2023. Spots are filling up quickly.
Parents, due to the anticipated gust of high winds from Hurricane Ian, Abbeville County School District will operate on an e-Learning Day tomorrow, Friday, September 30. JCCE will send additional information related to the e-Learning Day. Students will not report to school.
School will be on a normal schedule on Wednesday, January 19th.
