Westwood Elementary School will be dismissing students at 11:00 am due to inclement weather. Buses will dismiss first followed by car riders.
Parents, due to the anticipated high wind gusts of over 40 miles per hour forecast for tomorrow, Abbeville County School District will operate on an e-Learning Day tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9th. Your child's school will send additional information related to the e-Learning Day. Students and teachers will not report to school. All after school activities scheduled for tomorrow are cancelled.

Winter MAP Testing Dates
Just a reminder to "Fall Back" an hour overnight Saturday!
All visitors to our Fall Festival tonight should park at or near the front of the school. Both front doors will be open for admission. Please do not park behind the school as the hayride tractors will be loading and unloading near the playground. Thank you.
Westwood Parents/Guardians... Please accompany your students into the office to sign them in after 7:45. We ask that you do not let them out of your vehicle unattended at the front of the school for obvious safety reasons. Thank you for your patience, cooperation and concern for the safety of our children.
AHS is having aTown Wide Pep Rally on Thursday in Hite Stadium. In conjunction with the SIC, AHS is hoping to invite as many community members as possible.
Different teams and organizations will be running carnival games, food trucks from the community will be there for dinner, and we will close out the evening with a pep rally recognizing senior fall athletes.
Community , Staff and Students are invited!
